Depuis l'affaire sexion d'assaut en juin 2010, le rap est visé par l'homophobie. Mais doit on pour autant detester le rap??
Le rap n'est pas le style de musique préféré par les gays et les lesbiennes. Et pourtant de plus en plus de chanteurs, chanteuses et groupe rap, défendent la cause homosexuelle et defendent nos droits. On peut vous citer Monis, White Niggaz ou encore N'Dep entre autres.
Le rap est souvent jugé de violent coté parole, mais tous les groupes rap ne sont pas basés sur la violence. Ne zappez pas tout de suite une musique rap avant d'avoir écouté les paroles de la chanson, certaines ont des paroles profondes et justes. Pleins sont basés sur le combat de la société, ca peut etre la politique, la santé, la misere, l'exclusion, les discriminations, l'amour, etc.....
L'affaire sexion d'assaut a aggravé ce rapprochement entre l'homosexualité et le rap. Pour nous avec l'association Gayfree, nous demandons a ne pas melanger sexion d'assaut et la musique rap en general, un simple groupe de rap ne doit pas faire detester tous les groupes de rap, nous ne devons pas juger les autres qui n'ont rien fait et rien commis.
Monis, un artiste rappeur et gay militant et tres engagé contre l'homophobie et contre toutes forme d'injustice, connu pour defendre la cause de l'association "Le Refuge" et FIDL, et qui fait le tour sur internet actuellement avec son titre : "A nos actes manquées". Il souhaite agir contre toutes les formes d’intolérances notamment l’homophobie. Il milite également pour l’adoption par les couples homosexuels comme solution au problème des enfants orphelins ou abandonnés. Monis sort egalement son nouvel album le 07 février 2011 intitulé "Urgences" avec egalement un nouveau titre qui s'appelle "Lettre Ouverte" qui fait le tour sur internet et des textes qui touchent beaucoup le monde LGBT, un album a ne pas rater.
Les White Niggaz, groupe de rap découvert en 2009 dans l'emission "X Factor", ont sorti un album en mai 2010, avec notamment un titre qui s'appelle "On ne choisit pas" auxquelles les paroles sont basés sur la lutte contre les discriminations et l'homophobie. : "On ne choisit pas sa couleur de peau, encore moins d'etre homo ou hetero, qui sommes nous pour juger ce qui est bien ou mal? Ne dit on pas que chaque homme est egal??" telles sont les refrains de cette magnifique chanson rap, qui est devenue depuis debut 2010 l'hymne officiel de l'association gayfree, car les paroles de cette chanson concordent bien avec notre combat avec l'association. Les White Niggaz vont participer pour la deuxieme fois à l'emission X Factor en 2011, a suivre...
N'Dep, Jeune rappeuse et lesbienne, Ses textes sont influencés par sa propre expérience de vie et sa vision du monde, nous l'avons connue grace a son titre "Dans l'arc en ciel", rappellez vous des textes auquelles elle parlent des couleurs du drapeau gay : "Rouge pour la vie, Orange pour la guérison, Jaune pour le soleil, Vert pour la nature, Bleu pour l'harmonie, Violet pour l'esprit de communauté"
Donc vous voyez, le rap a une grande valeur sur dans l'homosexualité, nous pouvons compter sur la musique rap pour defendre la cause LGBT et lutter contre l'homophobie. Nous devons continuer a les defendre, ils ont besoin de nous. Ne les laissons pas tomber.
Par ailleurs notre webradio Gayfree Radio continue a diffuser ces artistes rap et le rap en general (sauf tout ce qui est violent), ils auront toujours une place dans la programmation, des specials rap sont diffusés la semaine entre minuit et 1h du matin, et la journee de temps en temps, et nos artistes gays evidemment souvent diffusés dans nos emissions gayfree story et icones gays ( voir programmation de la radio sur le site menu gayfree radio). L'association gayfree continuera de defendre ces artistes gays et lesbiennes et d'autres artistes rap du moment qu'ils defendent des causes nobles et justes .
